Posted by Sarah on March 12th, 2010 I try to be realistic here. I’m a poor college kid dreaming of big things but working up to those big things in many little ways every day. I’m a poor college kid who likes to cook, decorate, and be crafty. Decorating I can do on the cheap by shopping secondhand stores and being creative. I can be crafty by using things I already have and even by doing things on my computer. Cooking I can do, but only with what I currently have and with ingredients I can afford. This post is dedicated to all the cooking-related appliances and accessories I would totally have stocked in my miraculous dream kitchen if I had the money. Dreaming is good, right – that’s what my blog is all about, so I hope you say yes!

Not only is this a very chic and organized way to house spices, but they usually come with the spices included which overall is much cheaper than buying all the spices in the store upfront.

Posted by Sarah on March 5th, 2010 Now that I am an avid user of a Digital SLR camera (a Nikon D5000 to be exact), I have been hankering for not only new lenses (or just one new one for now), but also for a more roomy and cute camera bag.
When I bought my camera, I added on an inexpensive kit that included this camera bag:
 Rokinon Leather-Style Holster SLR Carrying Case
It does pretty much all I need it to do right now, seeing as I usually don’t go anywhere, so I don’t need to take my camera with me, and I only have the kit lens that came with the camera, so I don’t need any extra storage. This little carrying case will always be useful when I am on the go and only need one lens, but I plan on purchasing a new lens in the near future and will want more storage, as well as for papers, filters, my point and shoot camera, as well as room to grow.

Posted by Sarah on October 14th, 2009 I have already blogged about my perfect house, but that is something I won’t be actually looking into for a few years. Right now, I spend a lot of time at a desk doing homework, blogging, and surfing the web. I use the chair that came with my apartment, which is not very comfy or good looking. This has me dreaming of the perfect office chair. I would draw inspiration from these images:
It would be very plush and comfortable, but maybe not quite as large as the first image.

Posted by Sarah on September 23rd, 2009 I have been dreaming about my dream house since I was old enough to think about the future, just ask my parents. I never shut up about it. My mom has always been into decorating and crafty things for the home and my dad is carpenter, so it makes sense that I would pick up on these things as well. My dad would take me to work with him and I would either run around the job site he was currently working on, or if I was really lucky, he would have just finished a home that hadn’t been sold yet and he would let me in to have the whole house to myself to play in! I still to this day would still take him up on his offer to do that for me again just to envision what the houses could become. I must say, though, that I tend to like older houses or houses that were inspired by older architecture. I love when they are restored and brought back to life. I tend to be a little simple, however, and could do without the extreme carvings found in some old homes, but I do love
