Getting My Craft On – One Flower At A Time

Looking for some super cute artwork? I found this great tutorial at Living With Lindsay. She seriously has some of the best tutorials. I want to recreate everything she does! I loved this project so much that I pretty much recreated it with dollar store frames and all. I have not put any paper behind them yet, but may in the future. I also would like to cut out some of my green polka-dotted fabric to make leaves. Here is the project from start to finish:

It was so easy to do and very adorable, even without any paper behind the flowers or leaves around them. I love how Lindsay used them on her bookshelves, but I think they would be super adorable hanging above a bed or crib in a kid’s room or you could even use the flowers to make a flowery mobile! Oh the possibilities. They really are super adorable and a blast to make! What do you think?

  • Lindsay is so creative. Love her. Love these, too! The colors are really bright and fun. :-)

  • What a fun and creative idea!! Love the bright colours you used for your flowers :-)

I wonder if you could make the flowers with fabric?? Imagine all the cool pattern possibilities!!

    Kelly,

I actually had the same idea! I have seen similar fabric flowers on headbands and necklaces and think this would be really easy to do. You could probably even use hot glue instead of sewing them together. I may try that in the near future, maybe on a pair of shoes that I plan to Mod Podge!!! Thanks for the input!

A great way to add a pop of color to your decor and are funky.
