I actually enjoy a rainy day. Seems cozy and peaceful if it is just a gentle rain. I also know it is good for the lawn and garden plants.
The Garden pictures you took are beautiful. They look like peaceful places and I think that is what a garden should feel like, peaceful.
Funny story about the kitty. She must feel apart of the place.
We had mulberry trees when I was growing up and I loved them. I used to stand under them and eat the fruit off the trees. Good memories.
Hope you are feeling less gloomy now.
