During my room tour, I showed a few ornately carved frames. I have noticed that lately these have been catching my eye more and more. I have realized that I like clean lines, but I also like the ornate traditional style in small doses. These frames are the perfect amount of detail in one tiny package that I drool over! I like them so much that when I see them I buy them in all the colors they offer because I can’t decide. I love them all! Here are some that I found that I love (including two that were in my room).
I really love the bright colored ones, but the black, gold, and white ones are beautiful too. I wouldn’t mind a whole wall full of these! Do you like these or are they too ornate for your style? Where would you put one if you had it?

I have collected a few of these types of frames myself…however, changing my decor to Retro Modern Contemporary…..so really using more clean lines. I do like this style also….great choices. Your room looks great!!!
In a week or so, I will be posting on my blog, the process of making some old RETRO end tables into Modern Retro tables. It has been so fun, trying to make them on the CHEAP, as low as possible…….they are under $20.00 each so far. ;-)

I like the frames. I think they would look good in a grouping or could be used to emphasize decor. I think you can mix styles all that matters is if it looks good where you put it.
